Ama/Stabiliser available

I built two narrow stabilisers for Four Candles (cordless canoe) but then built and used pvc pipe stabilisers in the race. I donated one stabiliser to another competitor, Noa-Noa, so the other one is available free if anyone wants it, pictures in the Four Candles build log, located West Wickham, kent

4mm ply 8 feet long 6" wide on deck, 2" wide keel, a bit too much rocker and sheer.
Fastened by two M8 screws fixed into hard points about 34" apart.
Just what you need for a Proa.

Re: Ama/Stabiliser available

Alan,

Re the the remaining stabiliser from 'Four Candles' located West Wickham, kent.

I have a 'Linnet' rowing Skiff to which I intended at some point to try building and fitting an outrigger/outriggers.

I built in double oarlocks at the forward and aft rowing stations as attachment points ready for when I got around to making the making outriggers, and the ones you made look to be perfect for the job.
So, if the stabaliser is is still available I would very much like to take you up on your kind 'available free' offer, it will save me quite a bit of time and head scratching.

P.S. (there is a snap of my the boat 'Puddleduck' at Lower Lode somewhere in HBBR archives.)

Re: Ama/Stabiliser available

This post was updated on .
Ama available again.

Ken has wisely decided that a 400 mile round trip is probably more work than making an ama so the item is available again, free, details as before and pictures on the Four candles build thread.
