Love them or hate them - but they can be useful. I'm leaning towards the SeaFlo 750 gph pump with built in float switch:

I will stick it in one rear corner of MilliBee's cockpit well. Ideally it could go in the rear locker about 10mm below the floor in a sealed box with enough height. That would allow the cockpit to drain completely.

At 81x93x30cm the cockpit volume is 218 litres. If you really believe 750gph or 12.5 gallons per minute or 56 litres per minute it will drain in 4 minutes. That's a similar speed to a manual pump. Time will tell...
