Hi all
I am building a 23ft yacht in Yorkshire.
3/4 strip planked on ply baseboard.
Water ballasted trailer sailer.
Half way through stripping her.
Takes 30mins per strip.

Hi, that's a very ambitious and interesting project you've got going there.
I'd be interested in hearing more about the design parameters etc.
I look forward to seeing the finished boat.

Graham
The design parameters were fairly simple being limited by beam 8ft and length 21ft WL.
I also want a classic boat feel with Sampson post, gaff rig classic boat coachroof.
I also wanted simplicity so frames are cut from master curve with no wastage. Front cabin supports mast so as not to need compression post, elver penguin and farne islander were the design inspirations too.
Hull body is fine at bow for low resistance full at midship for good form stability and smooth run aft.
Water ballasted to allow trailering 1000kg empty.
18mm pine on 18 ply frames.
