Fleet's In

As one or two of you know

Ruthie and I are intending to rent our little place in Arundel as her hips do not currently allow for the number of stairs that go with living on a hillside.  It’s created a few glum moments moving our belongings  - only as far as the garage for the time being and it wasn’t until I stood back for a moment that I noticed my various models, gathered on top of an old cupboard – (1685 actually, it says so); it wasn’t until then I noticed they had created the sort of forest of masts seen in old pictures of harbours –

Eclectic, innit?

The other thing is I am now the proud possessor of a Piratical office chair.  Just once too often my five castor grabbed the heel of my Croc as I got up to leave.  It tried but I was too quick for it and this time, in the words of Basil Fawlty, I gave it “A damn good thrashing”....

The result of which is it now has a wooden leg –

Re: Fleet's In

One can only gasp in amazement at the level of workmanship.
