I think this would make a great community boatbuilding project:
A yard in Hampshire needs the space and would accept a token amount for the hull and deck moulds to make a modern 24 foot fast cruising cat by a well-known designer. Used recently to produce good mouldings, but no trailer or other transport is included. Apparently the materials to make the hulls and decks cost about £1700 per boat, plus 3% to the designer. I'm guessing twice as much again for the rigging and fittings, but I'm no expert.
Please express serious (underlined serious) interest a.s.a.p. and I'll tell the yard.
I'm not personally involved in this in any way, except that I'd love to have the moulds myself, but I don't have the space either. I don't think the yard cares where they go, as long as they go.
