It's been a while since I posted about my need for a smaller boat and my choice of IO's Guillemot. I got the frames set up and the moulds installed in the first couple of months of the year but then life took over and I did very little work on it until recently. Now, about 150 hours in, I have the hull ready to turn over (I like to do all the woodwork before wetting a brush with paint). This week, I have spent one day running small fillets of epoxy along the plank edges and another sanding most of it off - you know the drill! I know there is always more work to do than you think when you turn a boat over but this one has a fairly simple fit-out so I am hoping it will not take too long to finish.
