That's just Danny nipping out to the shops for his Mum,
they really should do something about the roads on Skye. Nice pulling boat though. They should also do something about the tracks in Hampshire. According to the OS Explorer map we were on a Bridleway, but then according to Google maps we were on the M27. ![]() Grum. |

Pity he didn't look after it better, It would have drifted away by the time he got back to it. > They should also do something about the tracks in Hampshire. > According to the OS Explorer map we were on a Bridleway, but then > according to Google maps we were on the M27. > > <http://uk-hbbr-forum.967333.n3.nabble.com/file/n4028099/01_freewheeli > ng_along_the_bridleway.jpg> Well, the horses can presumably jump over it. Perhaps you could practice Danny's fence-crossing technique for next time. Entirely off subject (so cheeky), but this business of "Sail when you can, row when you must, motor when you have to be back at work in the morning...." Haven't you missed - "Pedal when you want to see where you're going"? CW |

Or paddle! And when was the last time Al had work in the morning? And and who is this Fred who keeps getting hijacked? Grum. Sail when you can, paddle when you cant, row if you have to and cycle the rest. You may well be right. It never occurred to me as I have always known
where I was going. :-) But technically isn't pedalling just another form of rowing? Can't make sandwiches, take photographs, read the map, wave at admiring observers while rowing (or paddling, though I am also an admirer of that mode of propulsion.)
