Magic Seaweed

Even though we lose our keys on a regular basis Magic Seaweed is a weather site name you can never forget.

Designed as a weather site for surfers, the pressure and wind charts are excellent for sailors.
If you pause the animation in this link you will see the weather will have eased (for some of us) by 3pm:

Unfortunately the low pressure area is moving very slowly south-west and according to the forecast will park itself to the west of the Bay of Biscay for the whole week.

I'm so glad I built a boat with a cabin

Re: Magic Seaweed

Chris Partridge is reporting Force eight gusts is Chichester harbour.

Meanwhile the Illustrious Editor is manning a stand at Beauleau Boat Jumble if they haven't been blown half way across The Solent by now.

Great!

Hgrghmph.  I read a report somewhere that the boat jumble has been cancelled, on Friday, and refunds are being paid.  Sorry, I should have piped up earlier, perhaps.
