There was an impromptu gathering of Morbic 12s down in Chichester Harbour yesterday.
Paul and Robin had pressed ahead during lockdown (unlike one laggard Scotsman) and completed their boat so they arranged to meet a couple of other owners and builders for a sail in company.
Sarah and Mike Curtis who some will recognize came in their Adrian Donovan built Sloop, and John Shelton who lives locally brought his balanced lug and sailed rings round everyone.
I was lucky to bum a lift off Tom Edom in his Tancook Whaler and managed to take a few photos.

It's hoped that this might be repeated sometime somewhere next year and that other Morbics and Francois Vivier designs might be persuaded to attend.
If anyone out there (we know who some of you are Julian) are interested please get in touch.
Many thanks to Tom for giving me a ride in his lovely little boat.
Just to put things in perspective, she is about 11ft 6ins on the waterline. Deceptive.

Cheers Graham.
